Bio
Hey, I'm Donut, but all my friends call me Don! I'm 19, and am a Sophomore
in the Meteorology program at Central Michigan University!
I'm the head of Technology & Development at
GWES (the Global Weather & EAS Society). My specialty is interfacing with EAS
in Python, and I have assisted in many larger projects (ERNDEC,
CAR (Central Alert Repository)), and I have
also helped with many reverse engineering projects. Sometimes, I earn myself silly
titles from these endeavors, and as a result, one of the leading manufacturers in the
field refers to me as "Sketchy Don" because of my odd requests!
I'm also a budding photographer/videographer; I shoot Canon, my main camera is an EOS R7,
and my secondary is an EOS M50 Mk1. I'm currently in love with my RF-S 10-18mm lens...I
love being able to go super wide!
I'm also into sirens! I was a key part of the team that produced the SirenCon 2025 livestream,
and I am excited to go back again next year and make it even better! On the side, I also help
maintain an active Federal Signal 3T22 in the Kalamazoo County system!
That's about it for now...but if you have any questions don't hesitate to shoot me an email!
